If only she could see

She walks down life's path, clenching her heart and that's what holds the pieces together. He follows behind like a hungry wolf protecting her quietly from the grueling weather. He creeps up behind to inhale the smell of her skin so divine, her touch he craves every single time. She looks up at the heavens and closes her eyes pondering on what might the good things in life be? He gazes at the night sky and wishes saying "if only she was beside me". The taste of her lips dwells on his soul like sin to a slanderous being, if only through his eyes she could envision herself and determine her remarkable beauty can be admired and seen. The feeling of anguish blazes within his heart as she knows not what it's like to be free, bound by the lies of why he wasn't right she left him to rot because of society. He lurks in the shadows watching over her like a guardian and yet an angel he is but not. She misses his touch and his embrace when he held her near as her heart was now filled with wrath. He isn't around to catch her tears she cries, he instead watches from afar and it kills him inside as his soul slithers, withers and slowly dies. He will oneday feel no emotions and experience no pain, till the day his lips speak her name. The broken hearted have no comfort or solace that can keep them sane. She remains his drug which he will not attain, she remains his soul which can no longer let him bear the pain. One day she will see what exactly he did crave, she will know how precious she can be to the one with right eyes to see, she will know what she meant to me.

Pieces

The desires of the heart and craving of the soul, makes you feel so compassionate that you can't control. Like ashes in the wind emotions don't wither away, they remain till one grows old each and every day. The stormy weather brings forth pain, the good times don't last as you heart isn't the same. Distress and hatred fills you up, these burdens grow are like an overflowing cup. The rivers run dry, as we have but no more tears left to cry, the winters seem cold as we have only ourselves to hold. Loneliness is a gift, yet we fail to embrace, love is a great but finding that person who needs it is all we see, the one who deserves it, isnt yours to keep. The choices we make teach us the truth, you desire her heart and she doesn't give it to you. You pillow lays bare with the shell of a person that used to be there. Memories eat you alive torn between this life and things that are to come. Gone are the days of frolic and fun, gone are the moments you did so solemnly cherish, the pain and anguish makes you perish. Gone are the moments of laughter and pleasure. All you keep is your thoughts of the person you did once treasure. Nothing in this world stays for good, promises are broken as they should, God is the one who makes promises to keep, we as human beings need to remember that love doesn't last forever and ever, never expect your heart to belong to one. They love you for the time being and it's done. Gather your courage and pick yourself up, build up your pieces and become whole again without the popular people's thesis. Those pieces of you love like no other, so love yourself not another.

The Broken Hearted Love Story

As we walk down life's path, we lose our grip on reality and our hearts. Tis but the truth we fail to accept. Even if we take our last breath. She was no different and he was exactly the same, it began as children playin through the sunshine and always together through the rain. She knew what love was and deeply cared for him the most, he knew about kicking a football and having his fun at the most. She waited patiently and determined to love him more and more each day. Time passed by, he never did change, as teenagers they shared their first kiss, the taste of her lips made him feel bliss. She felt the butterflies in her stomach and the tingling in her toes. She knew as he did together they'll grow old. Alas! Life has a funny way of proving you wrong, this is their broken love story which angels sing as songs. He felt love like no other, he loved her more and more through every fight and stormy weather. She looked at another as most women do, she wanted to re kindle the spark she once knew. He was content with her in his life, he bought a ring to ask her, if she'd be his wife. She didn't say yes and told him the truth instead. He killed his heart and started thinking through his head, he hopped from relationships in an array, wether it's was from a year, month or day. Seeking her in every woman he caught, tis her memories that made him distraught. She now stays happy and far away from him as can be, as he looks down the bottle of his whiskey. Promising himself, if she'd ever come back the door to his heart would remain unlatched. After all these years he knows she wouldn't return, the boy grew into a man with lessons and experiences he did learn. A word of advice to those who give your heart so free to someone who says they would love you for all eternity. Trust them not and ask yourself why, the answer which is revealed will determine their lie. This love story shall no longer prelong, this love story will dwell in the soul like a unforgettable song. This isn't a love story anymore of the heart, this is a story of a man and his broken soul, his closed eyes shows him the woman he loved and the woman he did once dearly hold. He embraces the memories and has forgotten his past, he's kept his lesson and scars.

His broken smile

He walks under the cold night sky, listens to the rumbling of the thunder as the first drops of rain makes him shut his eyes. Her beautiful face envisioned by his mind, her gorgeous brown eyes leaves him mesmerized. The feeling of her skin on his fingertips and taste of her lips on his tongue, the moments he cherishes passes him by. The rain washes his soul yet he remains undone, she was his sin he could never control, he never attempted to try and resist, all he did was make certain she top priority on his list. He wishes he could turn back the hands of time, just to see her smile, he wishes things would be different and he could hold her one last time, he wishes he could kiss her lips and whisper in her ear, to tell her how much he cares. He wishes she'd understand why he kept his promise and was always there. If only he could run his fingers through her brown hair, feel her forehead on his lips as his hand held her face when he did kiss her with care. She knows not what its like to walk around with a shattered heart, she knows not what it's like to lay in bed knowing the one, you love the most is someone you had to live with apart. He puts his pen to paper and writes of their memories he's stored in his soul, forever to keep and growing old with his broken heart. The rumbling thunder wakes him from his gaze, he touches his face knowing not if its tears or the rain, as the pain lingers and makes everything feel the same. He walks on as the path he is treading is cold, wet and dreary, he know his body tires and he all but weary. Miles and miles he travels the earth to catch a glimpse of her and watch her smile. He secretly admires and feels his happiness return for a short while. We tell our long tales of love stories and happily ever after, in reality it's mythical and makes the broken hearted burst out in laughter. He will one day return to dust from whence he came, but his love for her will always remain.

Bruised Pride

She looks up at the night sky and counts the stars above, as he gazes into the darkness as he does lay thinking about the woman he dearly loves. She thinks about him at every chance she gets, he will love her till he takes his last breath. She misses his kisses and he craves her touch. He longs for her face buried in his chest again so much, she waits for his fingertips to run through her hair that was when she knew he did care. She still has the butterflies in her stomach, as she pictures his lips on her forehead like they did every morning, as she'd rise with the sun. She thought it was fun, when their journey had just begun. He thanked God and thought it was his plan. He missed the taste of her lips and the smell of her skin cause he was her man, as he closed his eyes to hold her near. She misses his breath on her ear and loved the fact he caught every tear she cried. Fear gripped them as they wondered if they'd survive? apart. She had his soul to keep and he had her heart. Her beautiful face and magnificent brown eyes could steal his heart right from the start. His stupid smile upon his face and it could melt her heart as it began to race. He'd smile at her just to watch her dimples show up so deep with such persistence and grace. Her beautiful brown hair would cover her face, and he'd push it aside to admire God beautiful brilliance on his woman so perfect in her happy place. A million fights and they'd always end up under each others skin, always forgiving and indulging in being their own sin. He was but a man filled with pride and that's something he thought she did know. She looked at the world, and the friends she made looking at her freedom and the acquaintances that did grow. She longed for that fact of meeting someone new and finding love a fresh. She slowly moved away from him as he pondered and did fret. One fine day, he decided to promise her that death couldn't keep them apart. He went down on one knee with a ring in his hand and she said that 'i do' and he thought it was from the heart. She broke his heart before her vows could ever be recited, by his woman so smart. She found someone else and she was all but excited. He lost himself in seclusion and dismay and broke himself into pieces of more than a few. He tried so hard to find someone new, but every piece of him, loved her as shattered as he could be. He walks the earth like a soul wandering through, cold hearted and emotionless for all the world to see. His pride guides him through life's journey. Staying away from anyone who tries to break his walls so strong. He craves for love and desires the touch of a woman with his eyes he can hold dearly. Yet he looks for her everywhere as far as his eyes can see clearly. Tis, not a story for the world to marvel and stare but the story of a blinded lovefool upon wasted time when she didn't care.

Broken Pieces Of Me

He sits down under the moonlit sky with his broken heart, yet, not a tear in his eye but only their memories to cart. He looks up at the heavens and whispers her name, which lingers on his un-kissed lips wishing he could un break his heart. He felt his hope slipping as day by day on his relationship he did lose his grip. He misses her beautiful face and the feeling on her fingertips on his skin, which always made his heart skip a beat as she was his beautiful sin. The sound of her laughter and the glint in her eyes as he'd tickle her feet. He'd hold her close as she was his treasure to keep. The taste of her body and the smell of her hair was his intoxication as he did sleep, she was all along the woman who'd be shown the most amount of love and care by no one would be allowed into his life so deep. Her finger fitted perfectly between his, her smile blossomed and grew beautiful from the time they both were children. He grew up knowing not what love is and she grew up knowing not who could steal her heart. He was always first and took her breathe away with ease. Yet she wasn't the one you could easily please. Swayed away by strangers in a world he protected her from, she chose another and took her 8 years to realise their relationship was done. She needed her freedom and tried every one else to see if they could steal her heart too. But she went back to the memories of him which she all along did cart and told herself she will always come back to you. She was a little naive and gullible all the same. She missed his presence and wished she had worn his ring to earn his last name. The pain they both feel can't be measured as he treasured her every moment of his life. Now he dreams about the memories they created throughout his entire life, she closes her eyes and wonders what it would be like to be his wife. We tend to look for happiness in things that entice us most, forgetting what's infront of us which we once so dearly held close. Look not to entice and build your walls high. A stranger comes by to steal what's precious and breaks you from the inside. We participate willingly and can't consider it a crime, people steal not only our heart but also our years and time.

Hidden

A ghastly scare and he awakes from broken slumber. Gazing into the darkness as to touch and hold her again he does but hunger. His nightmares are constant as thoughts of her in his dreams warm his soul. He promised he'd love her all those years ago. The smell of her skin begins to kill him and he so well does know. No amount of rain can wash away the pain which always grows. He's stuck in the past, yet wears a smile upon that mask. He kissed her lips but loved her soul, he touched her face and she was his mortal sin. She will not leave his heart and his mind breaks him from within. As children their love grew and he was always there. The fault was his own, as she lost hope and forgot how much he does care. Pain has made him stronger and he has never had any tears to cry. Loving her was amazing, he never really wanted to say goodbye. Young love, as they say always runs wild and free, yet he's left with the broken pieces which needs her and doesn't  let him see. While she has closes her eyes and sleeps peacefully with someone who loves her more than he could ever do. How did this turn out is something he never knew. He isn't lonely, he just misses her and that's true. He never stopped loving her, he just learnt to hide his feelings better from her so nobody knew.
