Young love

She walked the earth in magnificence and embraced her future without pain. She grew up tender, loving and mild. I watched her transition to a beautiful woman from a child. She longed for love and butterflies that flew around in her tummy. Everything to her was always funny. He made her laugh and she would watch his eyes glitter at the her presence. Her soul entwined with his that was a modest essence. They grew up as kids to young adults who fell in love effervescent. Hers grew strong like the roots of a tree. His was a phase like season's withering leaves. She longed for his touch and craved to be in his arms. His love was alcohol, and that's what made him calm. She held back nothing to make him feel happy and special was her biggest charm. He would hold her face in his palm. Being in love with her can do no harm. She wanted to travel the world and see all that there is. He wanted to watch his life pass by as fast as soda does fizz. He made her complete and she then figured she was too young. She could get any man she wanted and then desired her fun. Her embedded her to his soul, while he watched her prance away. He felt love for the first time and remembers that day. They walked away on different paths, and he remained with her in his heart. She was his companion and best friend and he now didn't know where to start. He ran through relationships trying to find a replica of her. Every time he found love he'd move away with fear. Numerous times till this day he has her name on his lips. He may kiss a million more as he seeks the familiar lips. She flew away like a migrating dove or swallow. Sometimes young love can leave you hollow.
