Soulmate

I enjoy the night sky blissful with the stars that glitter with peace. Yet, my soul still wanders with ease. I tease my heart with memories of ours. It always blossomed like wonderful flowers. The scars remind me of how far I've come. How long it took to survive what I've now become. Her beauty was my drug, her lips my eternal fire. The touch of her hand is now what I desire. It always took my soul higher, as she'd rest her head on my chest after a long day's end. She'd fall asleep so fast like a horse on a bend. I'd watch her slumber with peace and love making certain I don't wake. I'd hearing the rustling of the leaves by the window as the wind makes the tree shake. She frowns at the noise, as I hold her close still admiring her beauty.  Contemplating my worth of such adoration is my questionable duty.  Her presence doused my anger, her hugs kept me warm at night. Her laughter chased away my demons who gave me a fright. Sometimes, the memories is all you can cherish of the ones that you love. When they walk out the door it's too late to realize. Your soulmate exists no more.

His broken reflection

The soul of a man remains broken. The smile on his face is the appreciative token. Woken from his nightmares only to find them real. She walked away with his heart, leaving him without any emotions to feel. He kneels before God, weeping as his maker silent as a lamb. All the pain inside him bottled up and crammed. Many walk by gazing upon this heartless soul. He never needed their pity so cold. The tales he foretold stood everlasting, the experiences he had left his own life prancing in a meadow without and ferns. Tis her love he yearns. He learned from his mistakes, never to trust again. He burnt his soul with desire and sin. He dwells in his guilt and drowns in his shame. The burdens is all he has to his name. The demons and pain lurk like bees to a hive. He tries so hard to merely survive.  Alive is his body yet, death has befallen his spirit and pride. No more tears has he left to cry, like shattered glass his mask soon fades. The repressing memories of each falling day. She lingers within the skin on his body. Her beauty intoxicates him like cashewnut toddy. The horrifying look rendered him speechless as he felt the other one biting the dust. She didn't care for a broken heart to love. All he desired was trust, like a cluster of stars in the night. Spread across the milky-way. His heart was shattered bit by bit and regrets the mistakes he made. If only his soul was not as emotionaless as it seemed. He would become a normal human being. All he carries is the memories of pain, lies, and deception. That's why he can't stand to look at his own reflection.

Woman's Day

A woman is always caring, gentle, loving and shy. There is more to her beauty that meets the eye. She displays her pain from the tears she cries. She breaks down within and the pain she hides. Her hand is always there to hold, her wit and charm, makes you feel bold. She walks by with elegance and grace. You'd always admire that beautiful smile on her face. If she owns your heart, you're a privileged soul. She looks not for money, wealth, or gold. She seekth love, dedication and care. She waits for you to show you'll always be there.  She bears your child and wears your ring, she gives up her family counting the years from which with you her life begins. She sings in the morning while doing her chores. She misses you when you walk out the door on your daily routine.  Her heart is heavy and worried wondering if she is running in your thoughts. You may have fought for a tiny reason.  She'd forgive you no matter how cold the season.  A woman is a blessing and bestowed on this earth, her charm and beauty can never get you hurt. One can admire her beauty and find it their duty to love her till you grow old and grey. To every woman out there Happy women's day.

The broken hearted love story

The emotions of the heart is so easy misunderstood. Even if a relationship for long it stood strong. Gone are the attachments we once had. Sour are the memories that so often linger. Ypu can't place your finger on what went wrong. You wish you could change your past and the other person you once were. Fear grips you as you watch her walk away. You wish for a start and a new day. The tears she cried you managed to catch. Her name on your lips always remained latched.  The fact of life is you let her slip away. She runs through your mind every single day.  She cannot think about you anymore, as you walked too far away and she's no longer close. She owned your heart and wanted you the most. You wander like the ghost which isn't very holy. She is your favorite song for your ears only. This is a love story lost throughout the years. Sometimes it brings your eyes to tears. Sometimes it leaves ypu heartless and cold. She will run through my mind till the day I grow old.

Laid down the broken heart

Happiness is gift which we all seek. Living through the trails and tribulations makes us unique. We walk together hand in had she stood stronger than ever by the side of her man. She was his pride he never could hide, as he showed her off to the world. They both never thought love will blossom between this boy and girl. Growing up together with two worlds apart, they love was from the bottom of their hearts.  The carted the sorrowful things during every fight. They both tried so hard to make things right. The nights soon got colder as the days seemed so long. Them not being together anymore felt so wrong. He lived in his world looking down the bottom of a glass. She stayed in solitude as the reflection in the mirror showed her the mask. The task was burdened of bringing them close, the fear of losing what they loved the most.  Like the Holy Ghost, they felt like wandering souls. Nothing could make them happy not silver nor gold. They never got a chance to start, coz she was always the part in a life of a man who always loved her like poison to a dart. While he laid down with a broken heart.

Why must all good things come to an end

The whispering willows on a windy summer night. As she clung on to him under the place moonlight. They fight to be strong together, even under the most terrible weather.  The dearest of moments she realizes her joy, while he contemplates how to emancipate his pain. The silence between them drives them insane. You cannot mix thunder and lighting even though they go hand in hand. She was his drug and he her remedy unplanned.  Manned like a ship's falling post. The two lonely souls are strangers at most. From coast to coast they travel never again to cross paths. Even though she belonged in his heart. He carts her memories and she craves a new start. Yet the scars remain and prick like a poisonous dart. You try so hard and find yourself as the enemy. The sorrowful demons lurk within thee, free are your thoughts yet dwelling is the pain. Killed are your emotions leaving your efforts in vain. She is on your mind with each passing thought. Sinking deeper in this whirlpool of love that you are caught.  Not all good things last with time left to spend. Why must all good things come to an end.

Where my demons hide

Most of us live our lives in our deadly sins. Watching our demons crawl from within trying to find their way out. We are but spiritual being in doubt. The human experience we have, teaches us right from wrong. Melodies of my past plays in my head like a favorite song. I hear the gong and don't witness the bright light. I sorrowfully stand in the rain after every fight. Angels and demons exist here on earth, some play a part in our lives making certain we dont get hurt. Then there are the others that lurk in the night, the scary voices give me a fright. you search for the light and never find it near. Drowing in your sorrows and wishful fears. tears roll down seeing how much pain you've caused. Slowly but surely your eternal path is set. The time shall come when it is your maker that you need met. You bet not with your life, money, or gold. You bet with your soul and fight to keep it each day. You grow weary and weak with every moment that passes away. One day you shall cease to exist. No more pain no more slit wrists. One day you shall see all the good you've done. One day these demons will no longer have their fun.
